Novarama is an independent game development studio located in Barcelona, Spain. We have experience working in full-title development, contract work, as well as working with licenses. We have worked on a GBA title, based on Spain’s biggest TV license. We are Spain’s contractor studio for Ubi Soft, having worked with them in both Monster 4x4 (PS2+Gamecube). Finally, we have worked for Planeta Actimedia, Spain’s largest publishing house, as well as the biggest edutaiment publisher in all Spanish-speaking countries.

The studio was founded in 2001, and currently employs fourteen people plus freelancers. In 2002 we achieved the third prize in the “Most innovative company in Catalunya” award, held by the regional government. We have been awarded with several government grants due to innovation, generating occupation, etc.

The company began working on edutaiment products for Planeta Actimedia (world atlases, etc.). From there we became contractors for Ubi Soft, doing art and interface content for Monster 4x4: Masters of Metal.

By mid 2003 the company began working on our first GameBoy Advance title, to appear early 2004.

Meanwhile, a larger product was in the works undercover at Novarama, a massive action-adventure for the PC platform. Fallen Lords: Condemnation was unveiled at E3 2004, receiving rave reviews from the media. The game was released on time for the Christmas season, 2005.

Today, Novarama is working on projects for Sony PSP and next-generation platforms, which will be presented to the world at E3 2006.

And a host of freelancers who make sure we have the proper bandwidth to tackle any project.
